Uttarakhand Devasthanam Board has issued 70000 e-passes for Chardham Yatra pilgrims since July 2020. The number of people seeking e-passes for Chardham Yatra are increasing.
Thousands of pilgrims are registering online to take darshan at Badrinath Temple, Kedarnath Temple, Gangotri Temple, Yamunotri Temple.

Since July month, over 70000 e-passes have been issued for Chardham shrines. In this, 20000 pilgrims for Badrinath Dham, 11000 for Kedarnath Dham, 6500 for Gangotri Dham and 1500 pilgrims were given for Yamunotri Dham. It is the effort of the state government that the arrival of the passengers gradually increases in the Char dhams, which can speed up tourism and pilgrimage.
All hotels, homestays, tourist rest houses are opened up in Chardham Yatra Route for the pilgrims. Due to Covid-19, special care has been taken up by the authorities which include Social Distancing and Sanitization. Till now 57000 pilgrims have visited Chardham Shrines.
