The doors of Hemkund Sahib will be closed for the winter season with the law on October 11. This year the doors of Hemkund Sahib were opened on 20 May along with the Chardham Yatra. So far 2,15,000 devotees have visited Hemkund Sahib.
Narendrajit Singh Bindra, Vice President of Hemkund Sahib Trust said that the doors of Hemkund Sahib will be closed on October 11. He has urged the devotees to travel till the same period. He said that the trust has taken this decision in view of the weather.
The doors of Hemkund Sahib were opened on 20th May.
