Among the smooth Chardham Yatra season, the administration is also preparing to welcome pilgrims for Hemkund Sahib Yatra which is starting from 25 May. Due to high traffic, the movement of pilgrims on trucks and tripling on bike is prohibited.
Army from Engineering Core has open the trek route to Hemkund Sahib after cutting the glacier. Also the electricity supply has started at Hemkund Sahib. It is known that famous Sikh pilgrimage Hemkund Sahib and Lokpal Laxman Temple will open its gates on 25 May. The administration is making every effort for arrangements at the Gurudwara. It takes more than 20 days for 30 Army person to cut glacier ice to make route to Hemkund Sahib.
