On first day after opening of portals of Kedarnath temple, 9439 pilgrims worship and take blessing till the evening. The record number of pilgrims enter the temple after PM Modi visit. This is the first time after Floods that so many pilgrims visit Kedarnath on first day.
In 2015, 7039 and in 2016, 7068 pilgrims were visited on opening day of Kedarnath temple.The shops and accommodation get completely full on Kedarnath due to huge rush. The administration is continue to provide shelters and other facilities in Kedarnath and on the trek route.
