After the road open on Saturday evening at Vishnuprayag, the traffic movement get slow due to narrow road at landslide site. Traffic jams also reported at peak hours from morning to noon. But with active work of BRO team, the road is working smooth and traffic is slow and steadly passing on Badrinath highway.
Now BRO team is working day and night to expand the road at landslide zone and take all measures to combat such landslide in future. The complete work of increasing the width of road and tightly bound the Hathi Parvat will take some more days until then the traffic movement will be not much optimum.
