The temple is settled atop the Bilwa Parvat on Sivalik Hills and offer exquisite view of the nearby surroundings. This holy shrine is also known as Bilwa Tirth. It is also one of the Panch Tirth (five pilgrimages) located in Haridwar. To reach the temple one has to take the 3km steep trek from Haridwar. Ropeway services are also available known as Mansa Devi Udankhatola.
Chandi Devi Temple – The pristine, Chandi Devi temple is located at hill top of Neel Parvat in Haridwar. From Haridwar, there is 4 km trek route to reach the temple. Located at a height of 2,900 m, this holy shrine is devoted to Goddess Chandi Devi. The temple is a well recognized Siddh Peetha in Haridwar. Ganga Aarti –One of the most beautiful religious prayer performed at Har Ki Pauri ghat is Ganga Aarti. In Ganga Aarti devotees worship river Ganga. Aarti takes place daily at 6PM-7PM. The view during the aarti is very surreal. Priest offer prayers by holding huge fire bowls, there is chants of mantra all around, temple bells are rung. Bara Bazar – Shopaholic can visit the Bara Bazar, one of the popular markets in Haridwar. It is a very lively market lined with shops.
