Good news for all the pilgrims. An achievement has been added in the works being done towards Reconstruction of Kedarnath. A place has been built on the other side of the temple from which devotees can enjoy the panoramic view of Kadarghati and can sit with comfort and meditate. The name of this place is “Arrival Plaza”. Now this place has taken its shape. This information was given by Dr. M.P.S Rawat, Director of Uttarakhand Space Usage Centre (USAAC), who recently returned Uttarakhan from inspecting the reconstruction work. USSAC Director, Dr Bisht said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, 252 meter long route was constructed from Kedarnath Temple to the confluence of the Mandakini-Saraswati River. In the past, State Government asked PWD to apply granite tiles on the local route. Inspection found that all the tiles are made of local granite stones.
Highlighting one of the main attractions of Kedarnath Temple Complex, Dr. Bisht said that the entire area is 64 sq. meter. Arrival Plaza can accommodate up to 400 people at a time. Apart from these, Temple Plaza and Central Plaza have also taken shape. He also appreciated PWD Superintending Engineer Mukesh Parmar, Executive Engineer Praveen Kawarnal, Assistant Engineer LM Benjwal and Junior-Engineer MS Rawat for working fast.
