In July and August, the number of passengers has always been declining due to more rain. In these two months only a few hundreds of pilgrims visited Baba Kedar.
In May-June the daily stats of pilgrims were between 10 and 12 thousand people, but after then number of passengers started dropping significantly. From ten thousand figure, stats came to one thousand. In case of poor weather, only between one hundred to three hundred pilgrims visited Baba Kedar.
Now, due to reduced rainfall, once again in the month of September, Kedarnath Dham is receiving pilgrims. Almost one thousand passengers are reaching Baba’s Darshan every day. Since the starting of September month 8000 pilgrims visited Kedarnath till yesterday. Total 408391 pilgrims have already visited Baba Kedar since the opening of the Kedarnath dham on 03 May. The temple will closed on 21 Oct 2017 (tentative).
