This time 24 landslide areas have been marked on the Chardham Yatra route where roads are often blocked due to heavy rain. The Public Works Department has released the list of landslide areas and alternate routes for Chardham Yatra.
Pilgrims going towards Yamunotri-Gangotri can use Barwala Juddo, Dehradun-Mussoorie- Yamunapul road, Lakhwar-Lakhsyar-Nainbagh motorway, Naugaon- Poti- Rajgadi to Rajstar motorway in case of blockage of Harbatpur-Barkot National Highway.
In case of closure of Dharasu-Barkot National Highway, the Naugaon-Poti-Rajgadi to Rajstar motorway can be used to reach Chardham temple.
In case of hindrance in Rishikesh–Rudraprayag National Highway in the Badri-Kedar side zone, the Rishikesh-Khaadi-Gaza-Devprayag motorway can be used. Kirtinagar – Chauras – Farasu motorway, Dugripanth- Chestkhal- Khankra motorway can also be an option.
Maletha- Ghansali- Chirbatia- Tilwara motor road, Tilwara- Mayali- Guptkashi motor road can be used to reach Kedarnath in case Rudraprayag- Gaurikund National Highway is obstructed.

NH 94 : Dharasu, Chhatang, Paligad, Silai Band
NH 58 : Neer Gaddu, Saknidhar, Devprayag, Kirtinagar, Sirohbagad
NH 109 : Tilwara, Vijaynagar, Kund, Narayan Koti, Khat and Sonprayag
NH 121: Shankarpur and Paithani.
NH 87 : Jairasi, Adibadri and Gadoli
