The holy palanquin of Baba Kedarnath leaves for Kedarnath Dham from winter abode, Omkareshwar temple at Ukhimath. The sacred doli left Ukhimath after Vedic Pooja with the number of pilgrims and locals. This morning, the devotees were overjoyed at the Omkareshwar temple for Lord’s Darshan. The doors of Kedarnath Temple will be open for the devotees on 9th May at 05:35 am. The group of pilgrims traveling to Chardham was left after worshiping. Earlier, members of the Uttarakhand Tour and Travel Association worshipped in the Maya Devi Premises of the temple and wished to have a smooth journey.
Kedarnath temple is opening its gates on 09th May at 05:35 am and like every time, the holy palanquin travel from Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath to Kedarnath Dham. A huge rush of pilgrims accompanies the doli and dancing on the band and dhol. Like every year, Chardham Yatra was inaugurated by President of the Association Umesh Paliwal, General Secretary Sumit Shree Kunj and Patron Sanjay Chopra. In the first group, hundreds of devotees were sent off. Patron Sanjay Chopra said that Chardham Yatra is a big medium of the state economy. The State Government has made effective arrangements for the success of the journey.
