Within last two months, 13 lakh 88 thousand 657 pilgrims have reached Devbhoomi Uttarakhand to visit Lord Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham. This time the pilgrimage witnesses the record footfall of the devotees then the past years. After the disaster of 2013, there is a gradual decrease in nuber of devotes in Devbhoomi but this time the pilgrims are visiting the Badri and Kedar Dhams without any fear.
After the opening of the Lord Badrinath, the number of pilgrims who reached here till July 2 has reached 7 lakh 62 thousand 28. Even after the bad weather conditions, there is no lack in the faith of the devotees. At the same time, in the Rudraprayag, the journey of Lord Kedarnath is also going on. The memories of Kedarnath Disaster is also in memories of all pilgrims but it will not diminishing the faith of devotees towards God. This year, the number of pilgrims has reached 6 lakhs 26 thousand 629.
This year’s Chardham Yatra is going to be historic. In Hemkund Sahib, the holy shrine of Sikh, witnesses 1 lakh 27 thousand 14 pilgrims till date. Even after the Continuous rain in the Utrakhand is not able to reduce the faith of the devotees.
