Badrinath Dham Opened Today, First Puja Performed in the Name of PM Modi

The doors of Badrinath Dham has been opened today at 6.15 am in at auspicious lagna. For the next six months, devotees will be able to have darshan of Lord Badrinath in the temple. A large number of devotees have reached Badrinath to witness this holy occasion. As soon as the doors of the Badrinath temple opened, the shrine was resounded by Jai Badhinath’s Jayghosh. The first puja and mahabhishek is performed on behalf of PM Narendra Modi in Badrinath Dham.

Badrinath Temple decorated with 1500 Kg Flowers

Administration had made various preparations for the opening of Badrinath Dham. The Singhdwar and other shrines of Badrinath Dham have been decorated with 15 quintal flowers.

On Saturday, from the Yog Dhyana Badri temple of Pandukeshwar, Rawal (Chief Priest) of Badrinath Ishwar Prasad Namboodiri, Naib Rawal Sankaran Namboodiri, Dharmadhikari Bhuvan Chandra Uniyal and Vedapathi of Badrinath led by Acharya Brahmins, doli of Lord Uddhav ji, and the throne of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. Tel Kalash Yatra (Gadu Ghada) reached Badrinath Dham in the afternoon.

Kuber ji’s doli had reached Bamani village for night stay. Kuber ji’s doli entered the sanctum sanctorum of Badrinath temple at 5 am on Sunday. Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay, Vice President Kishore Panwar, former MLA Mahendra Bhatt, Chief Executive Officer of Badrinath, BD Singh as well as other BKTC employees and pilgrims garlanded Rawal, Shankaracharya Gaddisthal and Gadu pitcher and cheered Badri Vishal. welcomed with
