Badrinath highway which was blocked in Vishnuprayag was opened for public on Monday night. The highway was blocked with massice rocks and boulders which slipped down to the road on last Tuesday noon and Monday night. The removal work of the rubble and boulders has been going on since then.
On Monday, after breaking down the boulders it was then covered with the soil to temporarily operate it for the vehicles. The blocked highway had been posing as several problems to the pilgrims and the tourists. The pilgrims had to climb the hill taking a short route to cover the path.
