The schedule for the closing of Badrinath Dham gates was declared by the temple officals after the rituals and prayers on auspicious day of Vijaya Dashmi.
In winters, Cham Dham in Uttarakhand Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath are closed for pilgrims.
Badrinath shrine will shut its doors for devotees from November 17, ending this year’s ‘Char Dham’ yatra for year 2015.
On November 17, Badinath gates will closed at 4.35 am.
The shrine, situated in the Garhwal Himalayas, is a major pilgrimage site since the ninth century for Hindus all over the world.
The portal for Gangotri and Yamunotri, the source of the Ganga and the Yamuna River, will be closed on November 12 and 13 respectively.

Hi,we are planning for CharDham yatra in October this year. Would like to know the if all the four temples are open for Dharshan in October? Our plan is to visit Chardham between 8th Oct and 20th Oct.
Hi, All shrines except Badrinath will be closed on 01 Nov 2016. Badrinath closing date will be decide on Vijaydashmi. You can have darshans of all shrines during whole Oct month.
