GMOU buses has restarted its operations to Gaurikund from Haridwar after the 2013 flashfloods. The decision of resumption of bus service by GMOU is welcome by local residents as well. Along with Haridwar-Gaurikund bus service, Rudraprayag-Gaurikund bus service also resumed.
As per now two buses for Gaurikund has start running, one of GMOU and other by Himgiri operator. The schedule of daily bus service between Haridwar and Gaurikund starts at 05:15 am and 07:10 am. From Rudraprayag, bus will start from 08:30 am onwards.
