The Char Dham Yatra smoothly come on track again but some minor disruptions on account of rain-triggered landslides were reported. Several interconnecting rural roads have blocked due to landslides. The yatra to Hemkund, Gangotri and Yamunotri also continued today with 180 pilgrims. Today pilgrims are reaching Gangharia to proceed to the Hemkund shrine.
On the other hand, most of the rivers in the state are crossing the danger mark. The water level in the Ganga has reached 292.40 m and the Bhagirathi is flowing at 1,120.40 m mark today. Power generation has stopped at the Chila hydropower project (Rishikesh) due to silt.
