Chardham Yatra will start from 22 April in 2023. All pilgrims will take Darshans at Chardham Temples Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri & Yamunotri. Helicopter operations for Kedarnath will also start with the opening of Kedarnath Dham from 25 April 2023.
Status As on Nov 2023 – Booking for Helicopter Service for Kedarnath has been started. Bookings slots for journey date 9th Nov- 14 Nov will open just on 04 Nov at 12:00 noon.
The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) has fixed the fare for the Kedarnath heli service. The fare per person from Phata to Kedarnath Dham has been fixed at Rs.2750 and from Sirsi Rs.2749. Large numbers of pilgrims are looking for the helicopter services from other states including Uttarakhand.
UCADA has also allotted tenders to 09 Heli Aviation companies from Phata, Sirsi, and Guptkashi to operate Helicopter Service for Kedarnath. The helicopter fare of Kedarnath from Phata, Guptkashi and Sirsi has also been fixed by UCADA.
The round trip fare from Phata to Kedarnath will be Rs.5500 per person. Similarly, the round trip fare for Kedarnath from Sirsi will be Rs.5498.
