Badrinath 1800, Kedarnath 900 devotees allowed per day
In order to follow the social distance in the four dhams, circles have been made at a distance of two meters, so that if the journey starts, there will be a fixed distance between the devotees. Darshan should not be crowded by devotees, hence their number has been fixed. If the journey starts during the Corona period, only 1800 in Badrinath Dham, 900 in Kedarnath Dham, 600 in Gangotri and 450 in Yamunotri devotees will be able to visit per day.
Devasthanam Board CEO Ravinath Raman says that the Devasthanam Board has completed all the preparations at its level to start the journey. Only government guidelines are awaited to start Chardham Yatra. As soon as the instructions are received, further action will be taken accordingly. The number of pilgrims coming every day has been fixed. Along with adhering to the social distance of two meters, adequate arrangements have also been made for sanitization.
