The Chardham yatra is running smoothly. Weather in holy shrines remains pleasant with frequent showers. All roads & highways on Chardham route are open and proper traffic is running at all locations.
On Sunday, over 145 buses leave for Chardham from Rishikesh till noon. Huge pilgrims turnout can be seen on Photometric registrations counters. Over 3000 pilgrims register on registration counter in Rishikesh till noon.
Chardham administration is being in regular telecommunication connection with Chamoli, Tehri and Uttarkashi districts. All route are open and pilgrims movement is smooth at Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri and Hemkund Sahib.
Till now, over 2,70,000 pilgrims has done registration for Chardham Yatra 2016.
