Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat will launch various projects in Kedarnath worth Rs 180 crore. Officials told that reconstruction work in Kedarnath shrine is at its par after 2013 disaster floods.
Rakesh Sharma, Chief Secretary said that projects will give a steady momentum to pilgrims flow into shrine. The annual pilgrimage to Chardham is likely to start from the first fortnight of April.
He further sai that around 120 cottages were built and more than three lakh pilgrims will visit during coming Chardham yatra. Now the entire area has now recovered from 2013 calamity.
Among various projects, CM will inaugurate Bhimbali bridge in Kedarnath & a multilevel parking at Sonprayag. Parking will also consists the offices of Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre (DMMC) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
CM Rawat will also made ACRA bridge open to public. The bridge is built on river Saun connecting Sonprayag & Gaurikund.
