Now pilgrims and tourists has the option to not take tiresome road journey from Dehradun to Gopeshwar, as from now the helicopter service between Dehradun & Gopeshwar will be started. The total flight time between the two helipads is 40 minutes only.
For now the helicopter service will be once per week but will be regular after a month. This heli service will benefit the Kedarnath and Gopeshwar tourism by lowering travel time from Dehradun. The rates for this helicopter service will be INR 5000/- per seat.
