During the auspicious occasion Shiv Ratri on 17 Feb 2015, it was the first time in the history that, Shiv Ratri was celebrated in Kedarnath Temple.
Earlier, Kedarnath Shrine remained closed due to heavy snowfall in winters. But to finish the development work before the Char Dham Season starts, the NIM Team worked throughout the winters to complete the construction work.
