All pilgrims going on Chardham will now have Life Insurance. The insurance scheme will going to start from 07 June next month.
The tender for the Chardham Yatri insurance scheme will be out on 06 June. The insurance will be applicable for 15 days after the Photometric registration. In between the insurance holder or dependent will get insured amount on road accident or death. The govt will not take any amount or fee for insurance.
How To Avail Chardham Yatra Insurance Scheme
The basic condition for Chardham insurance scheme is that pilgrim need to have done Photometric registration. The list of registered pilgrims will be given to Insurance Policy Company. The pilgrims will then insured for 15 days.
