The doors of Hemkund Sahib will be closed for the winter season with the law on October 10. Due to Covid, this year the doors of Hemkund Sahib were opened on 18 September along with the Chardham Yatra. So far 5000 devotees have visited Hemkund Sahib.
Narendrajit Singh Bindra, Vice President of Hemkund Sahib Trust said that the doors of Hemkund Sahib will be closed on October 10. He has urged the devotees to travel till the same period. He said that the trust has taken this decision in view of the weather.
Let us tell you that the doors of Hemkund Sahib were always opened on 25th May. But this time due to Covid-19, the doors were opened late by about three and a half months.
