Army has got major success in clearing snow from last 3 km in Hemkund Sahib route. Earlier the route to Hemkund Sahib was completely covered with heavy snow.
Now state govt is focusing on Hemkund Sahib Yatra after successfully opening of Char Dham shrines – Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri & Gangotri. On monday, CM Harish Rawat visited the Hemkund Sahib & Govind Ghat to check out the preparation work going on for upcoming Hemkund Sahib yatra.
CM reached at 11:30 am at Govind Ghat and take blessing at Gurudwara. After then he takes inspection of the preparation with officials. He also takes an aerial inpection of Ghaghariya base camp and instructs officials to speed up the construction of Security wall in Govind Ghat. CM repeat that the security of pilgrims is on priority and SDRF personnels will be posted at Hemkund Sahib yatra route.
