Booking helicopter tickets for Kedarnath will be mandatory only after registering for the Char Dham Yatra. Without registration, pilgrims will not be able to book helicopter tickets online. A maximum of six seats can be booked per ID, and group travelers can book up to 12 seats at once.
The dates for the opening of the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples have been set. The state government is expected to begin registration for the Char Dham Yatra after March 15. Pilgrims from across the country and the world are eagerly awaiting the start of the registration process.
Kedarnath Helicopter tickets can now be booked online via the IRCTC website. The Char Dham Yatra will begin on April 30 with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri temples on Akshay Tritiya. The doors of Kedarnath will open on May 2, and the doors of Badrinath will open on May 4.
UCADA has completed preparations to operate Kedarnath heli services from Guptkashi, Phata, and Sirsi helipad. Like last year, Pawan Hans, Himalayan Heli, Trans Bharat, Global Victra, Thambi Aviation, Kestrel Aviation, and Aero Aircraft will operate the helicopter services
