On Tuesday, on the holy festival of Bhaiya Dooj, the chief priest Kedar Ling performed the pooja on closing ceremony. On this occasion, along with about 1200 devotees in the temple premises, BD Singh, chief executive of the temple committee, Ajay Singh, Superintendent of Police of Rudraprayag were also present. During this time, Kedarpuri was resonating with the tunes of Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry Band. Doli departed from the temple carrying the Panchmukhi Vigraha statue of Shri Kedarnathji with the boasts of Bam-Bam Bhole, which will pass through various stops and reach Omkareshwar temple on October 31 at their winter abode.
