In view of the heavy rain alert issued by the Meteorological Department and the deteriorating weather, the district administration stopped the Kedarnath Yatra from 11 am on Friday. Along with this, about six thousand pilgrims were stopped at different places in Gaurikund, Sonprayag, Rampur, Phata and Guptkashi.
