The doors of the Second Kedar Lord Madmaheshwar were closed on Thursday 21 November at 08:30 am after all the traditional rituals. Devotees have left for the Omakareshwar Temple in Ukhimath to carry the Utsav Doli of Lord Madmaheswar. Now during the winter season, the worship of Lord Madmaheshwar will be performed in the Omakareshwar temple for six months. At the closing ceremony, more than 150 devotees were present.
After the closing of the doors of the temple, Utsav Doli of Lord Madmaheshwar departed for its winter abode at Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath. At the first stop, Baba’s Doli will now stay overnight in Gondar village. On November 24, the Utsav doli of Lord will arrive at the Winter abode. Then the Idol of Lord will be placed in Omkareshwar Temple for six months of winter worship. Other preparations are being done in full swing with the temple decoration.
