Along with spirituality, Badrinath temple also gives message of unity in diversity. Each year during the yatra season the religious symbol of different states is placed on the Singh Dwar of Badrinath temple. This year mascot of Maharashtra state will be placed at the temple. The icon of “Om” will be placed on both sides of the Singh Dwar.



The placing of mascot of various states at the temple had been started from year 2012. Badrinath is spreading the Unity in Diversity message through the state mascot at the temple.
