Chardham yatra is getting good number of pilgrims after opening of all shrines. This huge turnout gave a reason to smile for local businessmen in these dhams. On the past four days, total 78534 has visited the Chardham. There are also more than 500 foreign tourists reach these holy shrines till now.
The officials told that for the past years after flood, there were very less pilgrims and tourist visiting these shrine. This year better facilities and good weather is attracting pilgrims to the holy shrines. Last year over 9 lac pilgrims visited the Chardham. This year there will be even more pilgrims turnout.
