Chaldham Yatra pilgrims has got a big relief from the Govt regarding the number of pilgrims for Chardham Yatra. Now an unlimited number of pilgrims will be able to travel to Chardham Yatra. Now any number of pilgrims will be able to visit the Chardhams. The daily darshan quota of the pilgrims has been abolished. Orders have been issued by the government in this regard.
After the decision, people associated with the Chardham Yatra, including Purohit Mahasabha President Purushottam Uniyal, expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister while expressing happiness over ending the compulsion of limited number in the Char Dham Yatra. Govt has given nod to remove limit in number of pilgrims visiting Chardham Temples.
So far the registration figure for Chardham Yatra has crossed 15 lakh. For the convenience of the devotees, this time the tourism department had started registration from February 21 itself. So far more than 15.14 lakh passengers have registered for the journey.
In this, 5.41 lakh passengers have been registered for Kedarnath Dham, 4.56 lakh for Badrinath Dham, 2.77 lakh for Gangotri Dham, 2.40 lakh for Yamunotri Dham.
