Kedarnath Dham will allow only 1500 pilgrims to visit shrine per day. However, members of Nehru Mountaineering Organisation engaged in the restoration work have claimed to accommodate five thousand people per day, but the presence and arrangement of the faithful administration of the strategy is to exercise caution.

Kedarnath portals are set to open on April 24 for the devotees. The government has begun preparations for the trip. Observing the devotees contacting the Temple committee in the recent days, the number of pilgrims is expected to rise. Keeping this point in mind, only 1500 Kedarnath Dham has been decided to allow pilgrims to visit the shrine.
