The huge plgrims turnout is recorded at Chardhams in Uttarakhand in very first week. Only Badrinath itself receives nearby 1 Lakh pilgrims within a week. On 11th May, 6318 pilgrims take blessing at Badrinath. As per record, 91798 pilgrims had taken darshan of Lord Badri vishal.



Such a huge pilgrims turnout earlier was seen on 2013. The Badri Kedar samiti also confirm the more advance booking of Puja at the temples than ever. If weather remains favourable, Badrinath will surely cross 10 Lakh pilgrims record by the end of yatra season.

Whereas, Gangotri has received 13425 pilgrims after the opening of gates on 28 April. Kedarnath is also on track of receiving record number of pilgrims. Till now 62273 pilgrims had visited Baba Kedarnath shrine after the opening on 03 May.

This Year only fully vaccinated people carrying covid negative report will be allowed to visit Char Dham (i.e. Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri).
