Over 10000 pilgrims are going to visit Hemkunt Sahib. The holy shrine of Sikh community is opening at 08:00 am on 25 May. Gurudwaras in Govindghat, Ghanghariya, Govind Dham and Hemkund are decorated to welcome pilgrims.
Pilgrims from all over the world are coming to get blessings at Hemkund Sahib. Sikhs from Canada, America, Australia and England are already reach there to take blessings.
The holy lake and gurudwara is famous as 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh ji had done penance here. This place was discovered by Sardar Modan Singh in 1923.
