On the occassion of Yamuna Jayanti, the auspicious time for opening of Yamunotri Temple Kapaat has been decided. The Yamunotri Dham will open on 28 April at 12:15 pm.
Earlier it was decided that both Yamunotri and Gangotri shrines will open on 28 April. Now the auspicious time for Yamnuotri temple gates opening will be same as of Gangotri temple. Both shrines will open on 12:15 pm.
An official of Yamunotri Temple Committee told that the palanquin of Goddess Yamuna will leave its winter abode Kharsali at 09:15 am on 28 April.
