On 15 January, on the sacred festival of Makar Sankranti, the doors of the Adi Badri Temple opened at Brahma Muhurta at 05:00 am. The temple is decorated with two quintals of marigold flowers for the inauguration ceremony. After the opening of the doors of the temple, Acharya Rohit Maikhuri will read the Srimad Bhagwat Katha.
Priest of the Temple, Chakradhar Thapaliyal will open the doors of the Adibadri Nath temple on the morning of Makar Sankranti at 05:00 am. After the opening of the doors, a grand ceremony will be performed at 11:00 am in the presence of MLA Anil Nautiyal.
On 16 & 17 January, folk dance and folk songs will be performed in the one week fair at AdiBadri Temple.
