Rawal (Chief Priest) of Badrinath Dham Ishwari Prasad Namboodri reached Joshimath on Wednesday. On 16 May, Rawal will leave for Badrinath Dham with Adi Guru Shankaracharya’s doli. Only the people associated with the temple’s puja system have been allowed to go to Badrinath Dham from the administration.



The doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened on May 18 at 4:15 am. All the preparations for the Char Dham Yatra have been completed by the staff of Devasthanam Board in Badrinath Dham.

He is staying at Rawal Niwas near Narsingh Temple. On 16 May , the doli of Adi Guru Shankaracharya from Narsingh Temple will reach the Yoga Dhyan Badri Temple located in Pandukeshwar and on 17 May, Uddhav ji, Lord Garuda and Adi Guru Shankaracharya’s doli along with Rawal of Badrinath Dham will reach Badrinath.

Covid Test will be held at Pandukeshwar

In view of the Covid infection, pilgrims and other people other than those associated with the temple will not be allowed to visit Badrinath Dham. A barrier will be installed at Pandukeshwar and medical team will be present to test Covid-19. Any person who goes to Badrinath Dham after the permission of Devasthanam Board will be examined at Covid-19 in Pandukeshwar. Police, Nagar Panchayat and Health Department employees will be present in Pandukeshwar.
