Opening of Kedarnath Dham

Opening of Kedarnath Dham

The doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened today at 5 o’clock this morning. During this time, the temple premises had the presence of the Tirtha Purohit, Panda Samaj and the Haqqudhudharis. Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, while wishing the devotees, has appealed to stay in the homes and offer prayers.

Due to the corona epidemic this year, the doors of Kedarnath Dham opened without devotees. The government has postponed the Chardham Yatra due to Corona infection. Only Raval, Tirtha Purohit, Panda Samaj and Haqqudhudharis will be allowed to offer prayers in the temple.

Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that the first worship in the four dhams is being done by the Devasthanam Board and temple committees for public welfare on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kedarnath Bhagwan’s Panchmukhi Doli reached Kedarnath Dham on Saturday evening.
