Reaching Kedarnath By Bus
Buses carry pilgrims from New Delhi to Kedarnath via Haridwar and Rishikesh in pilgrim season of summer months. Rishikesh/ Haridwar is the major starting point for road journey to Kedarnath. Pilgrims could easily find regular buses to Kedarnath in the morning. Also one can hire/ book/ take a seat in sharing taxi as well from Rishikesh/ Haridwar.
Uttarakhand Transport Corporation also run direct bus service from Delhi To Gaurikund (Kedarnath).
Nearest rail head to reach Kedarnath is either Haridwar or Rishikesh railway station. There are number of trains available round the clock from various Delhi railway station to Haridwar/ Rishikesh.
There are heli charter service available by many Heli Charter companies from Delhi to Kedarnath. Also one can use passenger flights from Delhi airport to Jolly Grant Airport located in Dehradun to take further road ride to Kedarnath from Rishikesh.
